Noble Park Tree Planting Sponsorship Opportunities
As part of the centennial celebration, the City of Paducah, with the support of volunteers, is planting 100 trees throughout Noble Park. More than half of the trees were planted this spring, with the remaining trees scheduled for planting this fall. The project will increase species diversity while complementing the park's mature tree canopy.
To help fund the initiative, Paducah Parks & Recreation is seeking sponsorships from individuals, businesses, and organizations at the following levels: $200 for one tree, $600 for three trees, $1,000 for five trees and $2,000 for 10 trees.
Sponsorships will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Tree species and planting locations will be determined by the department. Recognition signage will be standardized for all sponsors, and tax receipts will be available upon request.
To become a sponsor and pay by cash or check, contact Assistant Director of Recreation Taylor Morsching at 270-444-1331 or by email. Credit card sponsorships are also available online.
Noble Park History
Bob Noble Park was established in 1926 after Robert H. Noble donated $10,000 for its creation. During the past century, the park has grown into one of Paducah's premier recreational destinations, offering amenities that include Noble Park Pool, playgrounds, athletic courts, an amphitheatre, a skatepark, dog parks, and the Greenway Trail.
